I don't just sell recovery. I've lived it.
I'm Ruth Saunders — founder of Performance Recovery Supply, two-time IFBB Elite Pro, martial artist, and a cancer survivor. In 2018 I became the first Canadian ever to win two IFBB Elite Pro cards at a single Nationals. And I've rebuilt my body and my strength from the ground up more than once — through major surgeries and a fight most people never see coming. Recovery isn't a marketing word to me. It's how I'm still here.
I grew up in the rugged north of British Columbia, where strength and self-reliance aren't buzzwords — they're just how you live. That upbringing carried me to the professional stage and to years on the mats as a martial artist. But it was everything that came after — surviving cancer, coming back from major surgeries, and doing the slow, deliberate work of rebuilding — that taught me the truth this whole company is built around:

Why I built this
When you've had to fight your way back to full strength more than once, you stop taking recovery for granted. You learn which tools genuinely help a body heal, restore, and rebuild — and you lose all patience for the ones that don't.
These aren't products I read about in a catalog. When I was healing from cancer and coming back from major surgery, recovery tools were part of how I took care of myself — and they still are.
